Today I wanted to intoduce my hat.It has been with me for quite some time, roughly two years, maybe three. Although it was one of those things I always* wanted to have, but I had to grop up to feel comfortable wearing them.
The photos were for my friend’s stylist portfolio and were taken by the one and only Stuart Dreghorn.
The great thing is that I know so many talented photographers (five at least)and I am rude enough to ask them to take some pictures of me every so often. I think it is about right time to ask Stuart again 🙂 And Benzo, because he is co close, is doomed.
I am introducing one of the many beatiful halls at my Uni, as well as Nav, probably the most stylish person I have ever met. Here, however, his outfit was chosen by Katrina, who needed those pictures. My outfit was pretty much composed by me (yes, I do own the hat, the dress, the belt and the shoes), with Katrina adding the bracelet and the cardigan.
This is Dorothy Parker herself:
And Jennifer Jason Leigh (a very, very good actress) as Parker in the film:
Do try to read some of Parker’s poems, they are great and most often very amusing.
Here is the link, if you wish to get to know her:
DOROTHY PARKER poems
*Which means 'since I have watched Mrs.Parker and the Vicious Circle and I have fallen in love with 1920’s and Dorothy Parker herself’. Parker must be one of the best female poets, she certainly is the very best for me, so full of pain, cynicism and ridiculity yet elegant and noble.
