This is very true what they say that once you live full time in a foreign country, you will never have stable national identity anymore. You are never truly home. The question remains where do you feel less awkward. And my answer is that in the future I see myself more as a subject of Her Majesty.
Anyways, it is cool being back. I mean, as long as I am in the flat, it is nice. Outside it is…well, yes. Awkward. I feel a little bit like those elves in fantasy stories who are always haughty and look down on everyone. From years of experience I know it is the easiest way to cover that really you feel uneasy. People quickly pick up on the aura you create around yourself and begin to treat you like you really are THAT great. Little do they know 😉
